First qualis this year, Gdynia - 5/27, excellent, 259,25 pts. Some silly mistakes, but hey - it's still an excellent in qualifications! Now it's time to prepare for the new rules... 221,25 pts is not much. Do you know, we got exactly same points two years ago in Czech Republic in our debut? But I feel much different way this time. Another zero in first exercise can get you down. But Keen was doing her best, and I'm not a quitter as well. I've totally ruined the recall, so you can say we're even (Advice : Don't get hypnotized seeing your dog running soo fast! ) Just after the performance my feeling about heelwork was not so very good - actually I can appreciate A LOT of nice moments here! As I consider myself heelwork maniac, I'm finally motivated to try it more "judges favorite" style, change some technical details, etc. It will be my next year project, so watch me! She tried SOOO HARD in scent discrimination and distance control! Distance control is definitely not my hobby, but I can see we have found a right state of mind for this exercise. Call me biased, but I just love her zeta/blitz here! At our first WCO it was a success to me to not compare myself to all of the perfect border collies from all over the world. It worked. This time I feel like we were judged like border collies, and I'm super proud about this. Like at the vet check, when one vet said to the other : "Das ist kein Aussie fur mich". Maybe she was right, because Keen is much more to me! Aussies are not disabled ones. They can do it all, with high criteria as well. Those points will push me to make us work even harder, I can promise that! My little Aussie in first place after two days of qualis for Obedience World Championships in Switzerland 2021! 530 points from two performances, both days excellent note! Saturday: 2/26, excellent, 270.5 points Sunday: 4/25, excellent, 259.5 points Both days was above 30 degrees - and yet Keen fights to the end for every point - for me! Due to the breeding plans for her, qualis were definitely not our goal this year - but as it turned out, everything was delayed in covid season. It allowed us to return to the game, although there was not much time and the hormones of the newly baked mother dog took a toll on us in recent weeks. Thank you for the reliable, very wise evaluation of our performances in these difficult conditions - Nadine Hess (CH) and Katarzyna Drobik-Michalska (PL)! Not everything was perfect during today's OBWCH qualis, but the running parts were definitely one of our best performances, ever! We were 6th out of 20 teams, very good with 252,5 pts and one epic zero for zeta :P Trust me, it was a great ride today - smooth, fluent and energetic at the same time! She was like a Duracell rabbit! Getting closer and closer to the best competition of our life, I am sure! 252,25 pts, very good, 6/20 Judges: Vladislava Akimova (LV), Irina Popyonoka (LV) It was good, but difficult competition for us! We had two stabile performances during Polish Championship this weekend. Nice start for new WCH qualification season! Saturday : 2/21exc, 264,5 pts 💪 Sunday : 7/21 vg, 243,5 pts Judges: Viktoria Varsani (IT), Kristýna Barošová (CZ), Katarzyna Drobik-Michalska (PL) Shepmate's CLEVER GIRL wins II Polish Australian Shepherd Obedience Championship, elite class!
She also wins the whole competition, placed 1 out of 5. Judge: V. Akimova (LV), 277,5 pts. 221,25 points - definitely we need more experience, but still having fun together, and I hope it is visible! My goal was to keep Keen happy and motivated, doing her job just like she can do best. I am extremely proud of her. And I am proud of me too, because I was not doing any comparisons between my doggie and any other one! Just doing the best WE can! P.S. The first exercise was 0 pts, but it's not the reason it is missing on this video. It's just how the person who was taking the movie started recording...
Last OBWCH qualis in Zielona Góra were lucky for our team - we've got our second EXC in a row, and because of the absence of the high scored contestants (three of them had enough points in qualis to have a training start), we even got the podium place! Judge: Mads Grønbæk-Møller (DK) | 257/320 pts, EXC, 2/12! Despite of one missing EXC, which is a WCH minimum requirement, we are hoping for reserve place in a WCH team - still it's a dream too beautiful to be true! I've never expected this in our very first OB3 season...! |
